It is a great privilege to introduce CH Erin's Tin Soldier to our breeding program. A special Thank You to Sean Derrig and his son Sean Patrick of Erin Kennels for allowing us this tremendous partnership on such a special dog. We are very honored for the opportunity to be part of such a great champion. At Harris Kennels we are committed to raising the best gun dogs in the country. With the addition of Pete we feel we will be be raising the best dogs in the country. Erin's Tin Soldier has established himself as one of the top competitors of all time by winning 10 Championship Titles by the age of six. He has shown he versatility by winning in trials all across the country on a vareity of game. People that have had the privilege to watch him hunt comment on his intelligence, bird finding ability, his manners around game and how easy he handles. Pete has been extremely successful by winning the National Amateur Pheasant Championship and the International Pheasant Championship multiple times. Pete's competitive dominance earned him the 07-08 Purina Amateur Dog of the Year Award. Young dogs sired by Pete are consistently winning on the Shooting Dog Circuit and are making Superior Gun Dogs. We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to watch Sean work Pete's pups at his kennel and have had the pleasure of training Pete's pups at our kennel and could not be happier with them. The best way to describe them are 100% Bird Dogs. His pups are all natural, superior intelligence, tremendous amount of intenstiy and have that bird finding ability we are looking for. These pups have a natural tendency to stay off their game and are easy to train. Due to injuries Pete's trial career was cut short way to soon. He will be spending his retirement with us hunting Chickens in the Dakota's and Pheasants here in Kansas. We look forward to sharing his greatness and carrying on his legacy through his puppies. | |
