Good puppies are no accident. Great dogs are a product of breeding two outstanding individuals with a long range plan in mind. A proven stud dog is only a piece of the puzzle. Many people over look the female and only consider the stud dog when looking for good puppies. We are proud of the females that we have selected. We have carefully chosen and evaluated each female before they enter into the breeding program with a long range goal in mind. Each female must demonstrate qualities that we are looking for to be worthy of breeding. Sires and dams with superior qualities do not always mean they are superior producers. Some dogs do not have the ability to reproduce their qualities. As a continuation of our evaluation process we have our started and finished dog programs. Each year we keep between 20-25 puppies that we will train here at the kennel to carefully evaluate their abilities. These dogs will be sold in the fall ready to hunt with a select number held back to hunt the upcoming season. These programs allow us to determine if they are producers. We can first hand evaluate the pups and ensure we are raising quality gun dogs.
