Sam comes from the heart of Erins Kennels. His sire and dam both come from Erin's Kennels and is really a fun dog to be around. He is a smaller dog, but has a lot of snap and fire to him. Sam is considered medium range, but will hunt as hard as any dog you will find. Birds are not a problem for Sam. He is blessed with a superior nose and his ground coverage is flawless and he doesn't miss many. This smaller dog is fun to be around because he has such a great personality and just loves to be alive and hunting. Sam is whistle broke, whoa broke, holds his birds well and has had quail shot over him.

CH ELHEW FIBBER MCGEE x RUN-N-GUN KATIE HAWK
Boone is sired by the number two all time Elhew sire Elhew Fibber McGee. Fibber McGee was one of the last few brag dogs at Elhew Kennels. Fibber is producing pups that are excelling in all venues of field trialing and wild bird hunting and could possible establish himself as the all time Elhew sire. Boone's mother is a daughter of Hall of Fame member Rock Acre Blackhawk. The Blackhawk and Elhew cross is a proven cross of exceptionally stylish bird finders. No cross to Blackhawk has been more sucessful that that of Elhew Katie Lee. Boone is double bred Hall of Fame member, and National Shooting Dog Champion, Elhew Snakefoot. Boone is finishing up his first wild bird season and has done exceptionally well. He has shown to be an exceptional bird finder. His greatest asset is his intelligence. Boone has that natural ability of knowing where to look for birds. He is one of the smartest dogs I have ever been around. Another characteristic that I think sets Boone apart from others is his love for people. My seven year old son can handle Boone. He wants to be with you and hunt for you. Boone is a medium sized dog that is exceptionally smooth on the ground. Truly an all around nice dog and enjoyable to be around. Check out hunting pictures of Boone from this years wild bird season.

GUARD RAIL SPIRIT x ADDITION'S GO IMPULSE
Sam is a combination of two of the most important sire lines in the pointer world today. Guard Rail and Addition's Go Boy have proven themselves as Hall Of Fame members and in both competition and production numbers. Sam was born and raised here at our kennel. Sam was a standout from the start. He and his brother were held back to further evaluate as part of our started dog program. For the next year they amazed us every time we had them out. Our Spirit pups are best known for their nose and bird finding ability, but Sam was taking it to a whole new level. I had never seen a dog that could smell birds so far away even in the extreme heat and with so much intensity. I planted birds in every odd place I could find in the thickest cover trying to stump this dog and no matter what he would always find the bird. Ol Sam would be standing there just shaking on point with his eyes almost glazed over with intensity. Sam turned out to be a natural at backing and retrieving. Owning Sam's sire and dam we felt great about the future and would repeat the breeding next year so we decided to sale him to a gentleman in Arkansas. Shortly after selling him his dam died unexpectly. The new owner spent most of his time wild bird hunting Sam and using him on hunting preserves. Realizing how good Sam was he began to enter him in NSTRA and some timed money hunts. Right away he was placing in the NSTRA events, won a new shot gun and several cash prizes. It took us a while, but fortunately we were able to buy Sam back. He is home now and will never leave again. We are really excited about his future wild bird hunting here in Kansas and producing exceptional bird finding Gun Dogs.
BLACKHAWKS FIDDLIN ADDITION
HOF CH ROCK ACRE BLACKHAWK x ADDITION'S FIDDLIN GIRL
In our opinion one of the best bird dog crosses of all time is Fiddler and Addition Go Boy crossed dogs. These two lines have complimented each other very well throughout history. Many notable dogs such as Go Boy's Shadow, Shadow's Mark, Joe Shadow, Honky Tonk Attitude and Shadows Attitude exemplify this exceptional cross. This particular cross produces dogs that are exceptional bird finders with great style and intensity on their game. These type of dogs are blessed with tons of natural ability, toughness, train super easy and know how to find birds. Gunner was bred here at the kennel and sold to Dwayne Smith of Amarillo, TX. Under Dwayne's guidance Gunner received his early development and showed his tremendous potential as a superior gundog. We would like to think Dwayne of Providence Pointers Kennels for giving us the opportunity to bring Gunner back home and contribute his genetics to our quest to raise superior gundogs. Gunner's sire is Hall of Fame member Rock Acre Blackhawk by a daughter of Addition's Go Boy by a double grandaughter of Fiddlin Rocky Boy. If you look at his pedigree you will find a strong influence of the Fiddler and Additions Go Boy cross. We are excited about the future that Gunner brings to our kennel and look forward to hunting with him this fall in Western Kansas chasing those ole wild birds.
