HARRIS DOUBLE HAWK
BIG HAWK x SAN JACINTO MISTY
Hawk is a uniquely bred dog that we are looking forward to adding to our breeding program. Hawk has a double cross to Hall of Fame member CH Rock Acre Blackhawk, but for us we were more impressed with his dams side on top and bottom. His grandmother on his sire's side, CH Elhew Swami, needs no introduction. Swami was one of the most sucessful shooting dogs of all time with at least 15 championship titles. Swami, along with her sisters Sunflower and Hannabell, were known as outstanding stylish birddogs and are all in the Hall of Fame. Elhew Katie Lee, grandmother on the dam's side is one of the top producing females in the last decade. Hawk is a beautiful dog that has the look, gait, style and intelliegence you would expect to find in an Elhew bred dog. He has the tremendous bird finding ability, toughness and desire you would expect to find from his shooting dog genetics. Hawk's sire and dam are with Dean Lord in Texas and proven themselves to be top notched bird dogs. We believe Hawk to be an excellent combination of all his grandparents and with his unique genetics will be a dominant factor in his pups. Hawk is finishing up his first wild bird season here in Kansas and we could not be happier with the results. We will be breeding him this spring and are super excited to see his pups.

ERIN'S RIPTIDE
CH ERIN'S STONEY RIVER x ERIN'S LITTLE FIBBER
We would like to thank Sean Derrig of Erin's Kennels for allowing us such an opportunity to hunt and include Rip in our breeding program. Rip finished his derby season with multiple placements on the major field trial circuit. Rip is sired my multiple Champion Erin's Stoney River by a daughter of the all time leading Elhew sire in Elhew Fibber McGee. We have had the opportunity to train many young dogs out of Stoney River and could not be happier. Stoney River pups are easy to train, show trememdous nose, style, start at very early ages, and have great confirmation. Elhew Fibber McGee has established himself as the all time leading Elhew sire, but his daughters are producing exceptional pups also. Like many bird hunters we were skeptical of field trial dogs until we had the opportunity to work dogs with Sean at his kennel. The first two dogs we worked were Erin's Kentucky Gambler and Erin's Stoney River. I had never seen such athletes on the ground, but was more surprised at their bird finding ability. These two dogs were always found on point. On a later trip to Sean's we worked a young derby called Rip. I was very interested because this time I knew exactly where the birds were at in the fence row. We cut Rip loose and he ran down through there and slammed pointed everyone of those birds. I never dreamed a dog could point birds at such a distance, with almost no breeze, in a super thick and lush green fence row at almost dark at such a high rate of speed. I knew then Rip was something special. He has a burning desire to find birds. We feel confident that Rip will help us take raising Gun Dogs to a new level.
