Sam comes from the heart of Erins Kennels. His sire and dam both come from Erin's Kennels and is really a fun dog to be around. He is a smaller dog, but has a lot of snap and fire to him. Sam is considered medium range, but will hunt as hard as any dog you will find. Birds are not a problem for Sam. He is blessed with a superior nose and his ground coverage is flawless and he doesn't miss many. This smaller dog is fun to be around because he has such a great personality and just loves to be alive and hunting. Sam is whistle broke, whoa broke, holds his birds well and has had quail shot over him.

Boone is sired by the number two all time Elhew sire Elhew Fibber McGee. Fibber McGee was one of the last few brag dogs at Elhew Kennels. Fibber is producing pups that are excelling in all venues of field trialing and wild bird hunting and could possible establish himself as the all time Elhew sire. Boone's mother is a daughter of Hall of Fame member Rock Acre Blackhawk. The Blackhawk and Elhew cross is a proven cross of exceptionally stylish bird finders. No cross to Blackhawk has been more sucessful that that of Elhew Katie Lee. Boone is double bred Hall of Fame member, and National Shooting Dog Champion, Elhew Snakefoot. Boone is finishing up his first wild bird season and has done exceptionally well. He has shown to be an exceptional bird finder. His greatest asset is his intelligence. Boone has that natural ability of knowing where to look for birds. He is one of the smartest dogs I have ever been around. Another characteristic that I think sets Boone apart from others is his love for people. My seven year old son can handle Boone. He wants to be with you and hunt for you.
